Churches and Organizations – order your shoeboxes and labels online at Samaritan’s Purse!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM SAMARITAN’S PURSE:

$10.00 per box is requested to help with shipping expenses and evangelistic outreach.

Please put the donation in the envelope attached to the brochure.  Fill out, tear off, and seal.

Checks are recommended and should be made payable to Samaritan’s Purse.

If you bring several boxes – you may make out one check for all of them.

Do not give checks to the workers.  THE CHECKS GO INTO A SHOEBOX.

Online payments will allow the shoeboxes to be tracked so the donor can be notified of where the box(es) were sent.

Do not include candy, gum, or toothpaste. For a list of suggested items, please see the website https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/what-goes-in-my-shoebox-suggestions/

Please use a standard-size shoebox instead of the larger boot size.  Some prefer to use plastic boxes, of the same size, which can later be reused by the child.  If you wrap a box, please wrap the lid separately so the boxes can be opened in Charlotte.

The OCC pre-printed boxes can be ordered online and the cost is $25.00 for a case of 50 boxes.

Please contact us about volunteering (men, women, youth, and older children).  This ministry is open to all denominations, school groups, organizations, individuals, etc. – anyone who has compassion for CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD.  ABOVE ALL, PRAY FOR THE COMPLETE PROJECT – Beginning Now!

Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes present a wonderful opportunity to share the life changing message of God’s love with hurting children, their families, and friends.  Included in each shoe box is a Gospel Storybook for the child in his/her own language, followed by a discipleship program for those who wish to learn more. Through the power of a simple gift, hearts are touched, lives are changed, and even whole communities are transformed.  OCC would not be possible without the help of everyone who prays, packs shoe boxes, volunteers, and gives financially.  The Coordinator of the Jacksonville Collection Center is Becky Hoffman.

Celebrate Recovery

Fridays at 6 pm at Centerview Baptist Church

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-Centered recovery approach that helps people to find freedom from their hurts, habits and hang-ups. Based on the eight principles from the beatitudes, this twelve step program is designed to provide a safe place to share and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives as we travel the road to recovery.

Beginning July 1, 2022, find your place with us every Friday evening at 6 PM at Centerview Baptist Church.  A FREE meal is served. Childcare is not provided.

Baptist Education Preschool

Currently Enrolling

We believe that young children learn best in environments that allow for active play, exploration, thoughtfulness, contemplation, reflection and testing.

We believe that young children begin to develop character even in the early years. Being a trustworthy friend, showing kindness, being helpful, having an attitude of thankfulness, courage and learning to pray are all examples of good character that little ones can practice.

A Biblical approach to character development is the foundation from which we build. Children will hear bible stories, sing songs and create craft actives that explore such character traits.

Each day is full of active learning, exploration and fun!

OUR MISSION: The Baptist Education Center is founded on the belief that the years of early childhood are the most crucial to the establishment of sound educational practices and spiritual values. Our staff strives to meet the needs of the young child’s intellectual, emotional, creative, social, spiritual, and physical development. It is our sincere desire as Christian educators to become partners with parents and to aid in building a firm foundation for each child’s learning and growth.
